Embedding a Buzz in a website (eg Wordpress, Weebly, Wix, Square)

To embed a buzz in a web page (eg Wordpress, Wix, Weebly or another webcontent management solution) it’s pretty easy using an iframe. Just embed the html code with a link to your buzzy page.

For example to link to https://buzzy.buzz/go/981cb15ab795b1c251e69d15 you’ll add iframe code like:

<iframe src="https://buzzy.buzz/go/981cb15ab795b1c251e69d15/?leannav=true" width="100%" height="600px"></iframe>

Generally, you want the width to be 100%. Buzzy is “responsive” to ti will adjust to the width automatically.

The height should be a fixed number of pixels. Choose this to suit your specific buzz.

Note ?leannav=true removes the Buzzy top navigation… you can add it back in by removing that take or changing it to ?leannav=false

Some more tips:

  • Make sure your Buzz privacy settings are suitable - if you want anyone to access this Buzz in an iframe on your webpage, make sure privacy on the Buzz is set to ‘public’ or ‘unlisted’
  • Buzzy has a responsive UI - meaning it adjusts to suit larger and smaller screen sizes. So you can add your iframe anywhere on your page if needed (eg a side column) and the Buzz UI will adjust its layout to suit. Having said that, a minimum width of 320px is recommended
